QA/QC Engineer - Electrical

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a QA/QC Engineer specializing in electrical systems for its KST department in Jeddah. The engineer ensures that electrical projects meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, carrying out inspections, reviews and tests on electrical installations and equipment. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and audits of electrical systems, installations and equipment against specifications and standards.
• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols for electrical works.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project documents, and give feedback on design documents to ensure constructability and code compliance.
• Inspect and test installations, materials and equipment, and monitor QA/QC procedures on site.
• Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITP), checklists and quality records.
• Coordinate with construction, design and procurement teams to resolve quality issues and report non-conformances with corrective actions.
• Take part in audits, material inspections and commissioning, and ensure work follows international standards such as IEC, IEEE and NEC.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of QA/QC experience for electrical systems in industrial or construction settings.
• Strong background in design reviews, material selection and installation, site supervision and quality inspections.
• Experience with design review, installation supervision and commissioning.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, NCRs and method statements; relevant certifications preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international codes such as IBC, NFPA 70, IEC and IEEE.
• Quality control methodologies and tools, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
