Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality function in an industrial manufacturing environment that produces plastic piping systems and related products. The role will oversee all QA/QC activities, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities across production lines, inspection areas, and laboratory testing.
• Ensure compliance with product specifications, customer requirements, ISO 9001, and internal procedures.
• Oversee incoming material inspection, in‑process inspection, final inspection, testing, calibration, NCR, CAPA and quality reporting.
• Monitor quality performance for HDPE, PVC, PPR, CPVC, DWC pipes and fittings.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for defects, complaints, and non‑conforming products.
• Support and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, internal and external audits, and certification activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Technical, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Manage, guide and develop the QA/QC team, promoting discipline and compliance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, scrap and cost of poor quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing and at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in plastic pipe manufacturing, including HDPE, PVC, PPR, CPVC, DWC and extrusion processes.
• Proven knowledge of ISO 9001, quality audits, NCR, CAPA, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with standards such as ASTM, DIN, EN, SASO or customer‑specific requirements.
• Professional certifications (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are preferred.
• Excellent English communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
