Quality Engineer – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Quality Engineer will design, implement and manage quality control and assurance programmes for Otis elevator projects across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on on‑site product inspection, testing coordination with client teams, and ensuring compliance before handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials and finished products at major project sites.
• Serve as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution and continuous improvement.
• Review and approve quality requirements for manufacturing plans, supplier purchase orders and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance.
• Design testing plans and methods to guarantee reliability of product installations.
• Inspect parts and supplies delivered to worksites for compliance with specifications and contractual agreements.
• Implement process‑control, improvement, testing and inspection methods.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions and process re‑engineering.
• Maintain the quality system through internal audits and ensure alignment with global Otis standards.
• Coordinate with client inspection teams and Otis global QA teams to share best practices.
• Develop and deliver training material on quality standards and activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in the vertical transportation (elevator) industry.
• Saudi nationals preferred.
