Quality Inspector – Architecture (Saudization)

About the role

The Quality Inspector (Architecture) will ensure that all architectural and finishing works on villa construction projects meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role involves daily site inspections, material verification, and coordination with other discipline inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Review approved architectural drawings, specifications, material submittals, and method statements before execution.
• Conduct daily inspections of blockwork, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, tiling, marble works, ceilings, painting, façade finishes, joinery, aluminium works, and landscaping interfaces.
• Approve Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and issue Site Observation Reports (SORs) and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when needed.
• Participate in mock‑up inspections and ensure approvals before bulk finishing works.
• Coordinate with Structural and MEP Inspectors to align sequencing and integration of finishes.
• Monitor contractor performance against Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC procedures.
• Prepare snag lists, conduct pre‑handover inspections, and ensure timely defect rectification.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and produce periodic quality reports for the Senior Resident Engineer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural/finishing inspection and site supervision, preferably on villa or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of high‑end residential finishing materials, installation methods, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and documentation control.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
