Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that all incoming materials, finished goods, and warehouse operations meet the company’s quality and food‑safety standards. Working closely with Warehouse, Production, Supply Chain and Quality teams, the role safeguards product integrity and regulatory compliance in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products for compliance with approved quality and food‑safety specifications.
• Conduct routine quality checks within warehouse operations, including labeling, packaging integrity, and traceability.
• Monitor storage conditions and enforce proper inventory rotation (FEFO/FIFO) to maintain product quality.
• Identify, document, and report non‑conforming items and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation for internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote adherence to GMP, GDP and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Food Safety Management Systems certification preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and food‑safety standards.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
