Quality Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Technician to support our chemists in the laboratory. The role involves sampling raw materials and finished products, maintaining a clean lab environment, and ensuring accurate documentation of test results.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chemist in acquiring samples of incoming raw material and finished products following sampling guidelines.
• Support inspection of raw and packaging materials, including vehicles when required, and prepare samples for analysis.
• File raw‑material inspection reports, weak‑link reports and distribute them after appropriate signatures.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and readiness of labware.
• Help meet development‑project requirements and keep reference samples of raw material and finished products.
• Handle incidents related to raw material and finished products, including isolating and labeling hold pallets.
• Participate in continual improvement of the OH&S Management System, ensuring proper controls and achievement of OH&S targets.

Required profile

• Diploma (preferably in chemistry) or equivalent technical education.
• Laboratory experience with sample preparation and equipment handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sampling and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety (OH&S) standards.
