Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our construction supervision team. The role focuses on post‑contract commercial and financial management, ensuring cost control, accurate valuations, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all post‑contract quantity surveying duties, including cost control, cost forecasting and financial reporting.
• Scrutinise and verify contractors' interim payment applications and progress claims.
• Conduct on‑site measurements and valuations to support payment certifications.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, commercial summaries and cash‑flow projections for senior management and the client.
• Manage change control, evaluate and negotiate variations, claims and compensation events in line with contract terms.
• Administer contracts (primarily FIDIC), ensuring procedural compliance and handling notices, claims and dispute resolution.
• Identify and manage potential cost and schedule risks, and maintain comprehensive commercial records.
• Liaise with project managers, resident engineers, clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of quantity surveying experience, with at least 5 years on supervision projects.
• Proven experience in high‑rise (tower) projects and the luxury hotel sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Candidate must reside within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
