Radar Engineer – FPS-117 Support for RSAF

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Radar Engineer to join a Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) FPS-117 radar section in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will work directly with RSAF technicians and officers, providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and training on the FPS-117 radar platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support RSAF technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and training on the FPS-117 radar system.
• Determine scope of work, create schedules, and monitor technical progress.
• Interface with technical personnel to resolve radar issues and ensure compliance with standards.
• Review work products for quality, code, and procedural adherence.
• Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of assigned staff, making reassignments as needed.
• Ensure client criteria and contract scope are met across all engineering disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports, project manuals, and documentation for the client and project management.
• Follow contract specifications and program manager directions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's engineering degree or equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience supporting TPS‑77/78 and FPS‑117 radars.
• Strong computer systems knowledge and high attention to detail.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of current radar technology and engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities in dynamic, multi‑rank environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
