Railway Depot Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Railway Depot Maintenance Manager to lead track and infrastructure maintenance for a high-speed rail project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves planning, supervising, and reporting on all maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient railway operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual, monthly and weekly operational maintenance plans aligned with project maintenance strategies.
• Monitor track and railway infrastructure condition, coordinating teams to respond to operational incidents.
• Maintain and update the maintenance management database daily, tracking completed and pending tasks.
• Issue work orders, review completed reports and supervise maintenance activities on site.
• Manage maintenance records using the project’s maintenance management software.
• Prepare technical reports on plan compliance, work progress and incident investigations.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Works Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in railway construction or maintenance, preferably on high-speed rail projects.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Solid knowledge of ADIF railway track and infrastructure technical standards.
• Occupational Health & Safety training.
• English level B2 or higher (spoken and written).
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to relocate and reside in Saudi Arabia.
