Recruitment Officer

About the role

The Recruitment Officer will support the full recruitment and onboarding cycle for Misk Schools, acting as an ambassador for the organisation and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and coordinate interview processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a candidates’ database and develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Organise employment requisitions and advertise open positions across job boards, social media, agencies, and employee referrals.
• Screen candidates, conduct phone interviews, and assess suitability based on education, experience, skills, and salary expectations.
• Schedule interviews, manage calendars for hiring teams and candidates, and coordinate onsite interview logistics.
• Prepare pre‑employment paperwork, ensure compliance with employment laws, and follow safer recruitment practices.
• Support visa requirements for international hires and liaise with government relations.
• Conduct new‑hire onboarding, including orientation programs and induction profiles.
• Track recruitment activity and produce weekly status reports for the recruitment team.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments and external recruitment agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (essential).
• At least 2 years of relevant recruitment experience, including mass recruiting and working with local and international agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and sensitively with diverse cultures.
• Commitment to safeguarding children and young people, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
