Reliability Engineer – Tissue Paper Manufacturing

About the role

A client of Agile Consultants is looking for a Reliability Engineer with hands-on experience in the tissue paper manufacturing industry to work at its Jubail, Saudi Arabia facility. The goal is to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance. The salary is SAR 15,000 - 18,000.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and investigate equipment failures, identifying recurring issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Apply Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) principles to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failures and preventive measures.
• Monitor reliability indicators such as MTBF, MTTR and equipment availability.
• Prepare and monitor reliability KPI reports to assess maintenance effectiveness.
• Analyse maintenance data using CMMS and ERP systems to find ways to improve equipment performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Reliability Engineering.
• 2-3 years of reliability or maintenance engineering experience in a tissue paper manufacturing plant; previous hands-on experience in such a plant is mandatory.
• Knowledge of RCA and equipment failure investigation techniques.
• Understanding of RCM and FMEA, and experience monitoring MTBF, MTTR, availability and reliability KPIs.
• Ability to analyse maintenance data with CMMS/ERP systems.
• CMRP certification or equivalent is preferred.
