Remote Bid Writer for Heritage Projects

About the role

Chronicle Heritage International is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to lead the preparation of high‑quality bids for cultural heritage, archaeology and advisory projects worldwide. This fully remote position works closely with technical specialists and senior leadership to secure new work across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead bids, tenders, expressions of interest and proposals from planning through submission.
• Write clear, compelling, and compliant responses that translate technical content into client‑focused proposals.
• Coordinate inputs from technical teams, partners and senior staff.
• Develop pricing inputs and manage bid libraries, templates and CVs.
• Track bid outcomes and support continuous improvement of the bid process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in bid writing or proposal management.
• Strong written English with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work remotely with international teams.
• Experience in heritage, archaeology, environmental or consultancy sectors.

Required skills

• Salesforce (experience with the platform is desirable).
