Research Assistant – Composite Research Packages

About the role
The IC will deliver composite research packages that include sector mapping, policy briefs, and strategy notes. These outputs are designed to enable the Resident Coordinator (RC) and United Nations Country Team (UNCT) to concentrate their efforts on specific collaboration areas, thereby advancing sustainable development progress in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The role supports evidence‑based decision‑making for development initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare sector‑mapping analyses that identify key trends and opportunities.
- Draft concise policy briefs that inform UNCT and RC strategic choices.
- Produce strategy notes outlining actionable recommendations for sustainable development.
- Coordinate with the RC and UNCT to ensure research outputs align with collaboration priorities.
