Resident Engineer

About the role

RMG is looking for a motivated Resident Engineer to lead on‑site technical operations for digital transformation projects in Jeddah. The role involves coordinating implementation activities, supervising installations and ensuring delivery of technology‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily on‑site technical activities related to digital transformation projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of IT and smart technology systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, systems and integrated digital platforms.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and site documentation.
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment and issue resolution.
• Support implementation of cloud solutions, cybersecurity controls, IoT systems and enterprise applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital transformation, IT infrastructure or smart technology projects.
• Previous experience as a Resident Engineer, Site Engineer or Technical Project Engineer.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, systems integration, cloud technologies and virtualization.
