Resort Manager / Director of Operations

About the role

The Resort Manager / Director of Operations will support the General Manager in executing Jayasom’s strategy, operational initiatives and service standards. This senior leader will drive excellence across all resort functions to deliver outstanding guest experiences and strong business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Guest Experiences, Resort Caretakers, Engineering & Landscape, Gourmet Kitchen and Gourmet Services.
• Ensure all departments meet Jayasom’s service standards, policies and operational objectives.
• Lead department heads to resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maximize occupancy, revenue and operational efficiency through effective planning and performance management.
• Develop and manage departmental business plans, budgets, revenue targets and operational reports.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain luxury‑level facilities, safety, cleanliness and service quality.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with guests, owners and corporate partners.
• Experience overseeing multiple operational departments in a hospitality environment.
• Capability to create and manage budgets, business plans and revenue targets.
• Commitment to promoting wellness, sustainability and continuous improvement.
