Restaurant Host – Yanbu, Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Restaurant Host will welcome guests, manage reservations and support the dining floor in a high‑end hotel environment. This position ensures a courteous, professional and efficient service that aligns with Kempinski’s brand standards and enhances guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager and arrive punctually in full uniform with name‑tag.
• Greet guests, handle enquiries, and manage the reservation book and guest history.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow opening and closing procedures.
• Promote upselling of food and beverage items and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
• Operate the POS system accurately according to training.
• Monitor supplies, reduce waste, and assist with inventory counts.
• Record and forward guest complaints to supervisors for prompt follow‑up.
• Collaborate with Guest Services, Concierge, and other F&B outlets to ensure seamless service.

• Strong punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent communication and courteous attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Willingness to learn menu details and hotel services.

Required skills
