Restaurant Manager – Mediterranean (Umluj)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our Mediterranean restaurant at Raffles The Red Sea in Umluj. The role combines operational excellence with the delivery of an immersive Mediterranean dining experience, aligning with Raffles’ luxury service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring service quality, food consistency, and elegant ambiance that reflect Mediterranean heritage.
• Conduct briefings, inspections, and enforce HACCP, local regulations, and Raffles operational policies.
• Manage inventory, sourcing authentic ingredients, and control costs while minimizing waste.
• Curate guest experiences through storytelling, personalized service, and handling feedback with empathy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Heartists®, fostering a culture of passion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
• Drive revenue growth via strategic upselling, promotions, and collaboration with marketing and events teams.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare forecasts, analyze trends, and ensure profitability within budget targets.
• Support pre‑opening activities, including recruitment, training, SOP development, and service choreography.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant, preferably with Mediterranean cuisine.
• Pre‑opening experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest engagement.
