Retail Director (KSA, Kuwait & Bahrain)

About the role

The Retail Director will lead FENDI’s boutique network across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, shaping the retail culture and driving business growth through a top‑store approach.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial action plans to expand the business.
• Oversee boutique operations, staff, merchandise and customer service.
• Monitor sales performance against budgets and take corrective actions.
• Communicate vision, strategy and clear direction to retail teams.
• Structure retail activities, allocate responsibilities and ensure adequate staffing.
• Lead recruitment, rotation, mobility, training and development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Training and Visual Merchandising departments for staff training and display standards.
• Propose layout adjustments to maximise commercial efficiency.
• Manage store network projects such as expansion, renovation, relocation or closure.
• Participate in lease negotiations with landlords.
• Work with communication/events teams to execute local events.
• Design and implement local marketing, customer‑relations and VIP strategies to enhance brand image.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in fashion or luxury sales.
• 5‑7 years managing multiple luxury retail locations.
• Strong knowledge of GCC markets and prior retail experience in the region.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• High personal image standards and strong selling and communication abilities.
• Leadership, confidence, organisational professionalism and customer‑orientation.
• Administration and financial competence.
• Goal‑oriented, multitasking mindset.
• Fluent English; French and/or Italian are a plus.

Required skills

• Retail management system knowledge.
