Rolling Stock Lead - Rail (PMCM)

About the role

Egis Group is looking for an experienced Rolling Stock Lead (Rail PMCM) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role leads the planned maintenance and condition management of the rolling stock fleet, ensuring optimal performance, safety and regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvement across rail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise rolling stock maintenance teams, giving technical guidance and performance management
• Develop, implement and optimise planned maintenance and condition management (PMCM) strategies
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime
• Analyse maintenance data and performance metrics to improve schedules and processes
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources and procurement while keeping costs effective
• Coordinate with operations, engineering and safety teams
• Enforce maintenance standards, safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Monitor rolling stock condition through inspections and diagnostics, using condition-based maintenance
• Maintain maintenance documentation, procedures and training materials, and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• At least 12 years of professional experience in rolling stock maintenance or rail fleet management
• At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance teams and operations
• Strong knowledge of PMCM principles and rail industry standards, safety regulations and compliance
• Excellent project management, leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods
• Preferred: experience in the Middle Eastern rail or transportation sector
