Rotating Technician (Level II)

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Rotating Technician (Level II) in Al-Jubail. The role involves allocating maintenance activities to technicians, supervising ongoing jobs and coordinating with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to complete work safely and in line with SATORP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and update progress to the Foreman.
• Organize manpower, equipment and materials availability.
• Arrange work permits before work starts.
• Advise technicians on the proper use of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to complete the job.
• Maintain SAP data input, history and actual hours.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage comply with SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of near misses and unsafe conditions, participate in safety audits and attend scheduled safety and technical training.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years' experience in oil and gas maintenance with a high school education, or minimum 4 years with a diploma.
• Valid certification from a recognized third-party body or an accredited Saudi institute.
• Strong technical understanding of oil and gas facility maintenance management.
• Proven leadership skills in large organizations, maturity under pressure and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to deliver results in a multicultural environment.
