Safety/Training Supervisor - Oil & Gas Rigs

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Safety/Training Supervisor for oil and gas drilling rigs in Saudi Arabia. The role implements and monitors safety procedures on rigs, delivers safety training, ensures compliance with HSE regulations and promotes a strong safety culture among rig personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine rig inspections and enforce HSE policies
• Deliver safety training: H2S, firefighting, confined space, PTW, LOTO, rigging and slinging
• Identify hazards, report incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Lead emergency response drills and ensure crew readiness
• Maintain safety records, reports and training documentation

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Safety or a related field
• 5+ years of experience on oil and gas rigs (offshore or onshore) in HSE roles
• Certified in H2S safety, firefighting, confined space, PTW and LOTO
• Strong leadership, training and communication skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of rig operations, drilling equipment and safety standards (API, OSHA, ISO)
• Preferred: hands-on rig experience with mechanical or lifting operations, familiarity with incident reporting software and risk assessment
