About the role
The Sales/Country Manager will lead the assigned market unit, driving sales performance while ensuring operational excellence and full compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This senior role combines commercial leadership with overall business management and people development.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the market unit’s sales strategy, revenue targets and growth initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales organization to exceed commercial objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and strategic stakeholders.
- Monitor pipeline health, pricing discipline, forecasting accuracy and deal governance.
- Manage the P&L, translate corporate strategy into local execution plans and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards and internal policies.
- Identify, assess and mitigate business, financial and operational risks.
- Lead a diverse, high‑performing team, set objectives, manage performance and support talent development.
- Act as primary interface with regional and corporate leadership, providing transparent reporting on sales, financial results, risks and compliance.
- Support sustainability initiatives, including carbon‑footprint reporting and recycling actions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in leading sales and commercial functions at a country or regional level.
- Strong general‑management capabilities, including P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of compliance, risk management and governance requirements.
- Leadership experience in developing and motivating diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
