Sales Manager – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our FMCG business across assigned territories. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring strong execution of sales plans in a fast‑paced consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet volume, value and distribution targets.
• Manage, coach and motivate the sales team to maximise performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers and key retail accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and merchandising in the market.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports for management.
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain and finance teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines and trade terms.
• Handle key negotiations and resolve distributor or customer issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of FMCG sales experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Deep understanding of FMCG distribution models and retail channels.
• Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into action plans.
• Results‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with sales reporting tools.
