SAP Consultant (Transportation Management)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant specialized in Transportation Management (TM). The role focuses on implementing and optimizing SAP TM solutions, enhancing logistics processes, and integrating with third‑party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead at least three end‑to‑end SAP TM implementation projects.
• Configure and fine‑tune the TM Optimizer for cost‑effective routing.
• Design and support shipper and logistics scenarios.
• Integrate SAP TM with GIS and other map services.
• Develop interfaces between SAP TM and external third‑party systems.
• Manage subcontracting processes within TM.
• Handle charge calculation and freight settlement activities.
• Maintain authorization objects and security settings.
• Utilize TM Fiori applications for user interaction.
• Implement enhancements using BADIs, BOF, BRF+, and custom extensions.
• Leverage knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and WM where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Transportation Management implementations.
• Hands‑on expertise with TM Optimizer and GIS/map services.
• Strong background in SAP TM integration with third‑party solutions.
• Understanding of subcontracting, charge calculation, and freight settlement processes.
• Familiarity with TM Fiori apps and SAP authorization concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and WM is an advantage.
