Satellite Planning & Integrated Design Assistant Manager

About the role

The Satellite Planning & Integrated Design Assistant Manager is responsible for planning, optimizing and delivering satellite services infrastructure across GEO, MEO and LEO constellations. The role ensures capacity, resilience and performance while aligning investments with business requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the annual CAPEX plan for satellite services infrastructure covering GEO, MEO and LEO assets.
• Analyse infrastructure plans to verify transport and optical network alignment.
• Coordinate with WBU, CBU, EBU, Royal, STS and Infra teams to assess voice and broadband project forecasts.
• Review network capacity, utilization and performance reports to guarantee service readiness.
• Optimize investments and drive evolution of satellite infrastructure for improved efficiency, coverage and resilience.
• Lead rollout road‑maps for next‑generation satellite technologies, ensuring alignment with transformation objectives.
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for modernization, spectrum utilization and technology evolution.
• Monitor performance and availability, enforce KPI compliance and implement optimisation plans.
• Oversee design of GEO/MEO/LEO access and transport networks and integrate them with terrestrial infrastructure.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, support partnerships and drive engineering improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in satellite services planning, network integration or related telecommunications domains.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary stakeholder groups and manage large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on capacity planning and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing satellite communications.
