Science Tutor for VVIP Family (Riyadh)

About the role

This full‑time, residential position provides one‑to‑one science tuition for a high‑net‑worth family in Riyadh. The tutor will work on‑site at the family residence, delivering personalised lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is a plus) and may travel domestically or internationally as required.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality one‑to‑one science tuition across KS3 and KS4.
• Develop engaging, age‑appropriate lesson materials aligned with Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel curricula.
• Use creative, hands‑on and experiential learning strategies to enhance student engagement.
• Track progress through formative and summative assessments and provide detailed feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, achievements and learning goals.
• Foster critical thinking, independence, resilience and a growth mindset.
• Identify and support any additional academic or learning needs.

Required profile

• Specialism in Science/Secondary Education (essential).
• Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (ideally KS5) in UK or British international schools.
• Minimum three years full‑time post‑qualification teaching experience.
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related subject.
• Strong experience delivering differentiated and personalised learning.
• Familiarity with UK and international curricula, preferably Pearson Edexcel.
• Excellent communication skills with students and parents.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and ability to travel independently.
