Security Technical Writer (Freelance, 3 months)

About the role

Alnafitha International for Information Technology is seeking a Security Technical Writer on a three‑month freelance basis. The role involves collaborating with teams across the organization to gather information and produce high‑quality security and compliance documentation under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT governance documentation, including policies, procedures, and process guides.
• Create runbooks for disaster recovery and business continuity scenarios.
• Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and playbooks for security monitoring.
• Map configuration items (CMDB) and establish hierarchy relationships.
• Interpret RFx requirements and translate technical solutions into clear, client‑facing content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in IT documentation, preferably within security or compliance domains.
• Strong ability to understand and document complex technical solutions.

Required skills

• IT governance framework documentation.
• Runbook and business continuity documentation.
• SOP/Playbook creation for security monitoring.
• CMDB mapping and hierarchy definition.
