Senior Accountant – Indian CA

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong Indian CA background to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, supporting financial consolidation, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting transactions, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records in the general ledger and assist with month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and analytical reports.
• Support tax compliance efforts and assist in the preparation of tax filings.
• Adhere to internal controls, participate in internal audits, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the accounting team and senior supervisors to foster a positive work environment.

Required profile

• CA/CPA, ACCA, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and excellent organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with general ledger and accounting software.
