Senior Application Developer

About the role

The Senior Application Developer will lead the design, development, and delivery of complex business applications that support the organization’s strategic objectives. This role involves translating business needs into technical solutions, guiding a team of developers, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs using the defined SDLC framework.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software components with appropriate tools and languages.
• Drive resolution of complex technical issues and provide mentorship to other developers.
• Maintain documentation for coding standards and technology stacks.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Communicate technical information to both technical staff and business users.
• Collaborate with company representatives on system availability, feasibility studies, and software evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in programming, analysis, and design.
• Extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
• Proven experience with Oracle Database and Oracle Developer Suite 10g.
• Experience developing business applications.
