Senior Applications Engineer / Field Sales Engineer - Electro Voice & Dynacord

About the role

Keenfinity, a global provider of security and communication solutions, is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer / Field Sales Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role combines technical expertise with consultative selling for Electro Voice and Dynacord products, covering customer relationships, technical solutions and the sales process from first contact through project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application engineering and technical support for Electro-Voice and Dynacord solutions across the Middle East and Africa, supporting consultants, integrators, distributors and customers.
• Design and review professional audio systems, including loudspeaker layouts, DSP configuration, acoustic simulation and IP audio networking, and prepare system designs, BOMs and technical proposals.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, customer training and workshops.
• Tune, measure, optimise and troubleshoot audio, networking, hardware and software integration issues using tools such as SMAART and SysTune.
• Support business development through technical expertise, market feedback and participation in industry events and customer activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Audio Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in professional audio, AV system design, application engineering or technical support.
• Experience commissioning large-scale installed and live sound systems, and hands-on experience with audio measurement and tuning software.
• Strong communication, presentation and troubleshooting skills, and experience building relationships with consultants, integrators and distributors.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East and Africa; familiarity with the region's market dynamics is an advantage.

Required skills

• Professional loudspeaker systems, amplifiers, DSP and digital audio processing.
• IP audio networking including Dante and AES67.
• Acoustic simulation tools such as EASE, EASE Address, EASE Focus, EASE Evac, SONICUE or equivalent.
• AutoCAD for system drawings and technical documentation.
• Network technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS and multicast; CCNA/CCNP is an advantage.
