Senior Architect Design Team Leader

About the Position

Join BEC Arabia as an Architect Design Team Leader, a pivotal role where you will spearhead architectural design activities for major, high-profile construction projects. You will drive innovation and excellence, ensuring that every design solution is not only aesthetically outstanding but also technically seamless and fully compliant with international and local standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural design team through all project lifecycle stages, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee the development, review, and refinement of architectural designs, technical drawings, and comprehensive documentation.
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Structural, MEP, and BIM departments, to ensure flawless design integration.
• Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, building codes, and specific client requirements.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Act as a key liaison between clients, consultants, and various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and proactive problem-solving to optimize project outcomes.
• Support construction teams with design clarifications and on-site coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree highly preferred).
• 10 to 15 years of proven experience in architectural design.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing design teams on large-scale or mega-projects.
• In-depth knowledge of international design standards and Saudi Arabian building codes.
• Exceptional communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Expertise in BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and tools.
