Senior Business Developer – Hypermarket Sector

About the role

We are a fast‑growing distribution company in Saudi Arabia looking for a senior business developer to lead expansion within the hypermarket and modern trade channel. The role focuses exclusively on growth, deal‑making and market penetration, not on day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy for Saudi hypermarkets such as Carrefour, Panda, Danube, Othaim and others.
• Open new accounts and secure listing agreements for our healthy and functional food brands.
• Negotiate commercial terms, margins, promotions and listing fees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers and buyers.
• Identify new opportunities for product placement and shelf‑space expansion.
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing and supply‑chain teams to ensure successful launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in FMCG business development within hypermarket/modern trade in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record of listings, negotiations and business expansion.
• Extensive network of key decision‑makers in Saudi hypermarkets.
• Deep understanding of listing fees, promotions and shelf‑space dynamics.
• Results‑driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving growth targets.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
