Senior Buyer (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to lead the procurement of construction‑related goods and services for our operations in Dammam. The role will manage the full sourcing cycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) for civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, consumable and spare‑part items.
• Compile commercial bid tabulations and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Issue Purchase Orders and monitor their execution.
• Produce procurement status reports and maintain supplier evaluation records.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, warranties and payment conditions with vendors.
• Identify and develop alternative local sources to mitigate supply risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in construction, facilities management or industrial services.
• Professional certification such as CIPP, CPP or CIPS is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian supplier market.
