Senior Category Manager – Anow

About the role

Anow is Amazon's quick‑commerce platform in Saudi Arabia, delivering everyday essentials within 15 minutes from a network of dark stores. The Senior Category Manager will own the full performance of one or more product categories, driving selection, availability, pricing and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own category P&L – gross merchandise sales, margin, selection breadth and availability.
• Expand selection by identifying entitlement gaps, onboarding new brands and vendors, and prioritising the assortment that wins the 15‑minute shopping occasion.
• Manage vendor relationships: negotiate terms, enforce service levels and fill rates, and resolve supply constraints.
• Partner with Operations, Inbound and Replenishment teams to translate demand signals into in‑stock execution.
• Conduct competitive analysis (e.g., Ninja, Keeta, Noon, Hungerstation) to uncover share‑of‑shelf gaps and white‑space opportunities.
• Lead commercial moments such as Back to School, National Day and Ramadan with the right selection, inventory depth and promotional plans.
• Work cross‑functionally with Core Retail, RVR and OHL to unlock listings and remove systemic blockers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in category management, buying or retail merchandising, preferably in e‑commerce or FMCG.
• Proven track record of scaling selection growth and improving availability metrics.
• Strong vendor negotiation skills and comfort with data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast‑moving, startup‑like environment within a large organization.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC markets preferred.
