Senior Data Scientist – AI & Automation

About the role

The Senior Data Scientist will embed advanced analytics and AI‑enabled capabilities into daily investment and operational workflows. Working closely with front‑, middle‑ and back‑office teams, you will translate business problems into data‑driven solutions that improve decision‑making and process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to identify automation and AI use‑cases, define requirements, prioritize initiatives and track outcomes.
• Design, develop and deploy practical solutions such as workflow automation, intelligent assistants, document‑query agents and knowledge‑retrieval tools.
• Map and understand the firm’s data architecture, identify gaps in data quality or accessibility, and ensure solutions are grounded in available data.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical partners, supporting delivery, integration and onboarding of new platforms.
• Stay current with trends in investment management, data engineering and applied AI, progressively taking on more advanced technical responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience in data‑driven solution development within an investment or financial services environment.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
