Senior Dermatology Registrar

About the role

The Senior Dermatology Registrar provides expert clinical care to in‑patient and out‑patient dermatology patients in a hospital setting, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based treatment while adhering to Saudi Ministry of Health regulations and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive dermatology consultations for both in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Conduct daily outpatient clinic assessments and regular ward rounds.
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as PUVA therapy, skin biopsy, cryosurgery and excisional surgery.
• Provide on‑call emergency coverage for dermatologic emergencies.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and uphold confidentiality.
• Supervise junior medical staff and lead quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in continued medical education, research, and training programs.

Required profile

• Board‑certified dermatologist with extensive clinical experience.
• Familiarity with CBAHI / JCIA standards and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise junior staff.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
