Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure, IaC & CI/CD

About the role

Qanoniah, Saudi Arabia's leading AI LegalTech startup, is expanding its platform to support the next generation of its AI Legal Assistant. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own, automate, and harden the infrastructure that powers critical applications for top‑tier enterprises and government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure for internal and external applications.
• Develop and evolve Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation across all environments.
• Create and manage robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) to deliver code safely and quickly.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi standards (SDAIA, NCA, PDPL, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and implement security, auditability, and observability.
• Optimize cost, performance, latency, and reliability, including AI/LLM workloads such as GPU clusters and vector databases.
• Promote a DevOps and DevSecOps culture across the engineering organization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
• Proven track record operating production‑grade infrastructure, not just labs or proofs of concept.
• Strong collaboration skills with developers, product teams, and leadership.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Makkah.
