Senior Director, Commercial – Transport Infrastructure

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a Senior Director – Commercial to lead commercial activities for vertical‑link transport infrastructure projects. You will shape strategy, drive revenue, and ensure seamless integration of commercial goals with project execution across our ambitious entertainment and cultural destination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies that meet revenue and profitability targets for vertical‑link infrastructure.
• Lead, mentor and manage a high‑performing commercial team, fostering accountability and excellence.
• Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the full procurement cycle, from tender preparation to bid evaluation and contract award.
• Administer contracts, ensuring compliance, managing claims, variations and change orders.
• Monitor project budgets, financial performance and cost‑control measures; prepare forecasts and reports.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to promote cost‑effective solutions and risk mitigation.
• Provide commercial input for strategic planning and executive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• 10‑15 years of commercial management experience in transport or large‑scale infrastructure.
• Proven track record leading commercial initiatives on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management and negotiation.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret financial data and drive strategy.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC).
