Senior ELV Engineer – SCADA & BMS

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior ELV Engineer to lead the design, integration and commissioning of advanced SCADA and Building Management System (BMS) solutions for a major infrastructure project in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures seamless, smart and energy‑efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, power, fire and security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review, approve and oversee integration of complex SCADA and BMS architectures.
• Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, schematics and sequence of operations for compliance with project specifications and international automation standards.
• Lead witness testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) for SCADA software, PLC/RTU panels and BMS field devices.
• Conduct technical evaluations of controllers, sensors, network switches and software platforms to ensure reliability and security.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and ICT teams to resolve data‑integration bottlenecks and ensure protocol compatibility (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, Profibus, TCP/IP).

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in ELV systems with proven SCADA and BMS implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation/Instrumentation or a related field.
• Willingness to relocate to Tabuk and work full‑time on‑site.
• Fluent written and spoken English with ability to present technical solutions to clients and multinational contractors.

Required skills

• Automation protocols: BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, Profibus, TCP/IP.
• PLC/RTU programming concepts and GUI configuration.
• Experience with major platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric or Rockwell.
• Knowledge of controllers, sensors, network switches and related software platforms.
