Senior Enterprise Resources Planning Consultant

About the role

The Senior ERP Consultant is a hands‑on, techno‑functional professional responsible for building, configuring and maintaining the organisation's Microsoft Dynamics ERP environment across Finance and Supply Chain. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the role also mentors a junior team member while delivering end‑to‑end ERP projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across Finance and Supply Chain modules, including forms, entities and complex workflows.
• Design and implement integrations between Dynamics ERP and other business systems using APIs, Data Management Framework and middleware.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards and analytics with SQL and Power BI, and maintain data integrity and security roles.
• Lead technical delivery of ERP rollouts, upgrades and module expansions from requirements gathering through go‑live and hyper‑care, providing hands‑on execution.
• Provide L2/L3 support, root‑cause analysis and proactive monitoring to minimise business disruption.
• Guide and review the work of a junior ERP team member while remaining the primary hands‑on contributor.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 Finance & Operations, focusing on Finance and Supply Chain.
• Direct involvement in at least two full end‑to‑end ERP rollouts, including design, build, testing and post‑go‑live support.
• Proven techno‑functional ability to build integrations, develop reports, configure forms and design complex workflows independently.
• Strong command of SQL and at least one Dynamics development language (X++, C#, Power Platform/Power Automate.NET).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field; relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
