Senior Finance Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and control for its electric vehicle manufacturing plant. You will partner with plant leadership, engineering, and supply‑chain teams to drive cost efficiency, profitability, and capital effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to the Plant Director, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain functions.
• Lead the annual plant budget, quarterly forecasts, and 5‑year financial planning cycles.
• Manage detailed shop‑wise cost centers (Body, Paint, Assembly, Powertrain, Battery, Utilities, Logistics) and implement standard costing, variance analysis, and shop‑level KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, labor efficiency, and overhead absorption.
• Support SAP CO module configuration (Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, COPA) and reporting.
• Develop and track Cost per Unit and Cost per kWh for battery assembly.
• Partner with operations to improve material utilization, energy efficiency, and labor productivity, and evaluate financial impact of manufacturing KPIs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the manufacturing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or MBA in Finance.
• 15–20 years of experience in manufacturing finance, including at least 5 years in plant controlling.
• Prior experience in the automotive or electric‑vehicle industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop finance talent.

• SAP CO module (Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, COPA).
• Standard costing and variance analysis.
• Financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Cost per unit and cost per kWh calculations.
• Manufacturing KPI analysis (OEE, yield, scrap, labor efficiency).
