Senior HSE Officer

About the role
The Senior HSE Officer will implement health, safety and environment requirements according to Alfanar policies, generate statistical reports on incidents and support continuous improvement of site HSE management systems.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor employee health issues, oversee welfare programs and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments (HIRARC), and recommend control measures.
- Measure noise levels, develop corrective actions and manage fire safety and emergency drills.
- Prepare detailed incident, near‑miss and accident reports, lead investigations and track corrective actions.
- Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits and ensure contractor compliance with Saudi regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a diploma in Safety Engineering.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in HSE roles within industrial or construction environments.
- Ability to collaborate with teams, communicate effectively and follow quality and safety procedures.
Required skills
- Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
- Risk assessment and hazard identification (HIRARC).
- Safety inspections and compliance monitoring.
