Senior IT Service & Asset Management System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Service & Asset Management System Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of ITSM and ITAM solutions. You will work with Ivanti Service Manager to create scalable architectures that improve IT operations and drive efficiency across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of ITSM and ITAM solutions, from requirements gathering to post‑implementation support.
• Architect scalable, resilient ITSM/ITAM designs that meet enterprise client needs.
• Customize and configure Ivanti Service Manager to align with best practices and client requirements.
• Integrate solutions with existing IT infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and seamless interoperability.
• Define and enforce ITIL‑based processes for incident, change, asset, and service catalog management.
• Develop continuous‑improvement strategies using automation and analytics.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex IT challenges.
• Stay updated on emerging ITSM/ITAM technologies and assess their impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing, implementing and supporting ITSM/ITAM solutions.
• Proven expertise with Ivanti Service Manager.
• ITIL Foundation v4 certification (mandatory).
• Experience architecting solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff.
