Senior Legal Advisor – PPP & Investments Director

About the role

Albawani is seeking a senior legal professional to lead its Public‑Private Partnership (PPP) and investment activities. The role involves overseeing the full legal lifecycle of PPP projects, from request for proposal to financial close, and supporting the company’s broader construction and infrastructure portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize PPP contracts, MoUs, JDAs, EPC/O&M term sheets and related project documents.
• Lead legal discussions with partners, contractors, sponsors and lenders, including financing document negotiations.
• Coordinate with local and international external counsel on company incorporation, due diligence, and transaction documentation.
• Prepare risk matrices and support the commercial/BD team in PPP and construction negotiations.
• Advise on M&A, cross‑border deals, and manage any litigation in coordination with external counsel.
• Maintain organized legal records, prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B); higher education preferred.
• Mid‑to‑senior level experience handling PPP mandates from RFP through financial close in the region.
• Proven ability to lead complex contract negotiations and manage multi‑party legal projects.
