Senior Legal Counsel – Regulatory & Employee Advisory

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company seeks an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead regulatory and employee advisory matters. The role combines strategic legal guidance with hands‑on support for HR and management, ensuring compliance with all applicable labor and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on labor laws, employment regulations, and broader regulatory requirements affecting the business.
• Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure local and international compliance.
• Support management in resolving complex employee‑relations issues, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor legal developments in labor and employment law and evaluate their impact on the company.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to manage legal risks across the employee lifecycle.
• Represent the company in regulatory matters related to employment and liaise with governmental authorities.
• Design and deliver training sessions for managers and staff on compliance and best practices.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with admission to practice law.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in regulatory and employment law, preferably in a corporate or in‑house setting.
• Deep knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory compliance in relevant jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee‑relations and regulatory compliance issues.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities in both Arabic and English.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring junior legal team members.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple priorities.
