Senior Machine Operator

About the role

The Senior Machine Operator is responsible for running and controlling a production line in a PepsiCo manufacturing facility. The role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, control and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products according to KPIs.
• Gather hourly process data, conduct quality wall meetings and report material usage, waste and efficiency.
• Monitor and minimize energy consumption (water, electricity, gas) and ensure equipment hygiene and housekeeping.
• Manage process workers on assigned stations, schedule breaks, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and alert food‑safety hazards, stop production in consultation with the laboratory technician when specifications are not met.
• Coordinate with engineering for equipment maintenance or repairs and support IPS and food‑safety audits.

Required profile

• Industrial Training Institute (ITI) graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing processing environment.
• Basic communication skills and a good working attitude.
• Ability to operate and maintain process equipment independently.
