Senior Manager, BI & Insights (Sports Analytics)

About the role

Team Saudi is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the strategic implementation of Business Intelligence and insights solutions for its Sports‑Optimized Training Center (SOTC). The role focuses on developing athlete management systems, real‑time monitoring tools, and sport‑science analytics to drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute BI and sport‑BI strategies aligned with SOTC long‑term objectives.
• Deploy and manage Athlete Management Systems (AMS) throughout their lifecycle.
• Integrate IoT devices, wearables and data‑capture systems into training environments.
• Design dashboards that combine BI data with athlete performance metrics and report on KPIs.
• Oversee data aggregation, model design and analytical framework implementation.
• Act as liaison between BI teams, directors, coaches, and sport‑science staff, delivering workshops to boost data literacy.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end analytics projects, evaluate vendors and manage procurement for sensors and BI tools.
• Identify innovative sport‑BI enhancements and drive automation, integration and platform upgrades.
• Lead training programs for coaches, staff and athletes on BI tools and AMS.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading BI initiatives, preferably in a sports or performance‑analytics context.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for decision‑making.
