Senior Medical Representative – R&I (Madinah)

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Medical Representative for the Research & Innovation (R&I) portfolio in Madinah. The role focuses on influencing prescribing behavior, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with primary‑care healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Engage primary‑care healthcare professionals in discussions about approved indications, efficacy, and safety of designated products.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to create and execute a local strategy and business plan that meets or exceeds sales and call‑execution targets.
• Drive sales performance, manage forecasts, and adhere to assigned budgets and therapeutic goals.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the market, demographics, and competitive landscape within the assigned territory.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals and sample distribution.
• Demonstrate strong medical knowledge and promotional skills related to the disease area and product portfolio.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science or a related medical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
