Senior Mobility Planning Specialist – Horizontal Solutions

About the role

JASARA PMC is seeking a senior Mobility Planning professional to lead the development of horizontal mobility master plans. You will work with architects, engineers, and urban planners to create integrated transport solutions that support sustainable urban growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement master plans for transport systems in urban projects.
• Analyse existing mobility patterns and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation solutions with urban design.
• Forecast future transport demand and devise strategies to meet it.
• Engage stakeholders—including government agencies, community groups, and private partners—to gather input and support.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision‑makers.
• Monitor trends in transportation technology and urban development to suggest innovative solutions.
• Ensure planning activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Facilitate workshops and public consultations on mobility strategies.
• Assist in developing policies that promote sustainable and equitable transportation options.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in mobility planning, transport planning, master planning, and urban planning.
• Strong knowledge of transportation systems, urban development processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS and other planning software.
• Experience using traffic modelling applications.
