Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning and scheduling activities for the Integrated PDH‑PP Plants project in Saudi Arabia. The role bridges the client, project controls team, engineering groups and multiple contractors to ensure accurate forecasting, progress measurement and timely delivery across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and scheduling interfaces among client, Worley Project Controls, engineering teams and contractors.
• Maintain and update the Level 1 Client Master Schedule, consolidating contractor schedules and reflecting key dependencies.
• Review baseline, look‑ahead and recovery schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and project milestones.
• Monitor overall project progress across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning workstreams.
• Analyse earned‑value and schedule performance, challenge contractor forecasts and identify risks, critical path activities and potential delays.
• Prepare regular progress reports, forecasts and mitigation plans for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling on large EPC or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls principles, earned‑value management and delay analysis.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex schedule interfaces.
